Amanda Jarvis is an interdisciplinary designer and maker who grew up in the High Plains of western Oklahoma. Her work and interests are focused on costume design, wearables, assistive technology, sustainable fashion, interaction design and makerspace education. She approaches the act of making as a way to interface with the world and connect with others.

Interests include: open source tools, circular design, sustainability, wearables, couture sewing, STEAM education, historical costume, soft interfaces, and upcycling.
